Leadership

Mehrteab Leul Kokeb is a senior law professional with 25 years of experience in corporate and transactional matters. Mehrteab has expertise and experience in project finance assignments as well. Currently, in MLA, in addition to managing the law office, Mehrteab Leul is practicing both on project finance and corporate matters. He is skilled in providing multidimensional legal services to individual and corporate clients on the structuring of transactions, facility agreements and security arrangements making sure clients are utilizing their resources efficiently.

Getu Shiferaw is a partner in MLA’s Corporate and Tax Practice. His practice encompasses general corporate and commercial law, with specializations in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, financial market regulations, project finance, sovereign debt and sovereign debt guarantee and FDI. Since 2013, Getu has been advising foreign and domestic investors on Ethiopian investment law, corporate and commercial law, investment vehicles for FDI, project finance and security devices.
